Strong genetics are one of the most important things to consider when deciding what strain of concentrate to purchase next. Two of the most recognizable lineages of cannabis are Kush and Haze strains. Typically, Haze strains commonly take on sativa-dominant traits with yellow-green appearance, light scent, and strong head-high. The flowers and leaves are usually long and then, with wily hairs. Kush strains are more indica-dominant, with a heavy body high, darker color, and fragrant aroma. Indica leaves are typically wide with more robust buds.
It’s not uncommon for some to add the names “Kush” or “Haze” to mediocre strains to boost their shelf value, so a little research will benefit you in the long run. Kush comes from Hindu Kush, originally found in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India and introduced to the US in the 1970’s. The kush flowers are brightly colored with darker green tones and deep purples. Haze is said to have originally started in Northern California before gaining popularity worldwide. Haze strains typically have a longer flower time, and grow taller and thinner than the bushier Kush plants.
Some strains are heavier hitters than others. For example, Ogre Kush comes from a lineage of the strong indica, Master Kush and OG Kush, that can measure up to 26% THC. Silver Kush and Triangle Kush are also both on the DabsLabs inventory list in True Spectrum. As for the Hazes, Cherry Lime Haze is the top haze that DabsLabs is currently producing. There are currently two ways to enjoy DabsLabs’ Cherry Lime Haze, as either a Live Resin or a Live Budder. Many reviews suggest Cherry Lime Haze as a great morning smoke, as it’s sativa-dominant, uplifting hybrid.
